This episode is done in tribute and memory for my best friend, Joe Cerach “aka” Joey Bolt. That’s Joe and me on the cover posing in my home studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico back in 1994, just one of many times when he went above and beyond the call helping me schlep across the country for work. A real friend is rare to find and devastating to lose, especially so young. As fate would have it, 2 days after Joe passed I received the new album from one of his absolute favorite artists, Steven Wilson’s “The Future Bites.” I would like to believe he has already heard it. We’ll feature that along with new stuff from Typhoon, Teenage Fanclub and the return of Too Much Joy alongside a deep excavation of sounds in an attempt to recreate the endless hours Joe and I spent discovering, exploring and acquiring as much music as humanly possible. Hope you enjoy the journey and don’t miss the included tribute to Tom Stevens of The Long Ryders. As always, thanks for all your generous contributions at https://paypal.me/pools/c/8beKwFWlHR which make everything possible.

Hi Mike, this latest set has been exactly what I've needed this week. When I heard Frank Turner I thought of Franny, he was one of her favorites. Boy do I miss the old Loft so thank you for carrying on the business of keeping up the good work.

I think we could have lots of conversations about music. I certainly miss your program and the Loft. It was always valuable to me to hear new and great music. I always contend that there is a lot of really talented bands and voices but they are getting lost. I'll just scroll down your shows and enjoy.

Especially enjoyed this show, Mike. I think it's a great tribute to Joe, I'm sure he would have approved.
