What I am listening to... Today.
I can't believe I've actually posted something every day, let's see how long this lasts. Going forward, each day will be archived and Segue Lessons will remain a separate page. Some cool suggestions came in and I'll try to post them soon.
First up today is a great song from Over The Rhine's new Joe Henry produced album The Long Surrender.
And here's one from the band that should have been a massive hit.
Finally... now that this thing will be archived I simply have to post Abigail Washburn. I know it is early in the year, but "Chains" is an amazing song. You have to get this album.

I stumbled upon this one where the same artist is in both records. You may need to have some Kleenex handy, especially if you've seen the video of with the acoustic version of the first song.

Mike I think I'm getting the gist of this format. I maybe able to contribute, but in the mean while, I like this a lot.

I don't believe segues have to overlap, it's nice when they do, it's also great when they are in the same key and end and start on the same note, but it's not required.

I totally agree with you Christopher. It just so happened that the first one I posted was one of those "they play together" type of segues. I'll get around to all the variations eventually. I wanted to start with one that would demonstrate the ability to play all of the players on the page at the same time.
