Big celebration in the house above The Basement as my severely immuno-compromised daughter finally received Pfizer shot #1, and your host is all set to get it done on Tuesday. We turn on the party lights with a jam-packed 3 and a half hour episode for FTB #122 and it was so nice of Mick & Keith of The Stones to drop by and help break in the new studio. We bid a sad farewell to Malcolm Cecil, inventor of TONTO and a man that inspired, influenced and literally moved the culture forward through his groundbreaking work. There are new projects to explore from First Aid Kit, Steven Wilson, Cathal Coughlan, Dr. Lonnie Smith with Iggy Pop and Badfinger, with special guests including cult heroes The Legendary Pink Dots. We also explore a historic Allman Brothers gig, recorded while all original members were among the living, and pull discs from all over the library including Booker T.
