Two years ago today I was sitting in a hospital in Maryland beginning the R-EPOCH chemotherapy regimen for Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Last year I was in Colorado with my daughter Anastasia getting a central line implanted for treatment she was told would last the rest of her life. Today, I woke up in our dear friend’s Joe & Robin’s house in NJ cancer free. Anastasia's here and that port in her chest has been removed, she's feeling stronger and in charge. These FTB shows have been a large part of the healing process, the support, encouragement and love that have flowed back to me is a main reason I survived. Not to mention the financial support, which has been a lifeline for my family during what can best be described as scary. The overwhelming birthday wishes received today solidified that the best way to spend the start of my 64th year on the planet was playing records with you. It’s a different kind of episode, so get comfy, have refreshments handy and leave some room for cake.
