Everyone survived, just one hospital visit (short stay), a substantial tick bite (me not one of the animals and not related to the hospital) and buckets of water for flushing (well water/no manual pump). New music this time centers mainly on a pair of releases; the soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino’s new film “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” and a brilliantly eclectic new offering by The Quiet Temple. They are joined by new efforts from Delbert McClinton, DJ Shadow (with de la soul), Lloyd Cole and Mavis Staples, as well as a new vault release from The Replacements. Library goodies include exclusive performances from Joseph Arthur and Golden Smog among Chris Whitley, birthday boy Pete Yorn, Translator, Herbie Hancock, ZZ Top, Alexis Korner, Harry Nilsson, John Martyn, Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy and much more.
