I've loved his music from his first Atlantic album and actually wore out vinyl copies of his first two A&M releases ("Ghost Writer" and "One Eyed Jack") and remember paying over $30 a piece for Japanese CD replacements, as that was the only way you could get them. I still go back to these records with remarkable regularity. There is new stuff from Sara Bareilles, Derek Senn, Idlewild, Andrew Bird, Robin Trower, John Legend, Lee Fields & The Expressions and Trixie Whitley in Episode #53. As usual we’ll take a romp through the stacks stopping at sections including R.L. Burnside, The Young Rascals, Willy Deville, Charles Bradley, Wilco, Aretha Franklin and many more.
